The Illinois Association of Christian Administrators supports Christian leaders in public schools and will host a fellowship event entitled “Compelling Leadership: Lessons from Nehemia” on Saturday, November 18, at 7 a.m.
Wake up early to enjoy a time of fellowship, prayer, networking, and leadership lessons from Nehemiah (and the Chicago Cubs) presented by Tom Zobrist, pastor of Liberty Bible Church in Eureka, and father of World Series MVP Ben Zobrist.
During the Conference, artwork from Illinois public elementary and high school students will be on display around the Grand Ballroom area of the Hyatt Regency Chicago East Tower. The art pieces will showcase a variety of media including painting, drawing, and printing.
Student music groups will perform for Conference attendees as they enter the Grand Ballroom for the First General Session on Friday, November 17, as well as the Second General Session on Saturday, November 18. Plan to arrive early at these General Sessions to enjoy listening to the music and upbeat tempo of Illinois public school students.
The Magnificent Mile Lights Festival will take place on Saturday, November 18 just across the Chicago River, with the parade route running down Michigan Avenue and past the Hyatt Regency Chicago. The festival will include musical performances, a tree lighting ceremony, and a number of other family-friendly activities. Check the Magnificent Mile website for additional details
